Two vehicle theft suspects were arrested after a high risk traffic stop in Westminster

On 8/12/23, police officers located a stolen vehicle in the area of Magnolia Ave. and McFadden Ave., according to the Westminster Police Department.

The assisting police officers quickly responded and conducted a high risk traffic stop.

The driver and passenger were both placed under arrest.

This is just another example of great team work by WPD. They currently have 9 officers in training which means Field Training Officers are constantly fighting to take calls to get these new officers experience. It is a great problem to have! WPD is continuing to hire to put more officers back on your streets.
