An innocent teen bystander and a teenager were hospitalized after being shot today, June 5, at around 12:15 p.m. at the 900 block of West Bishop Street.

Multiple suspects fled from the scene. The shooting was believed to be gang-related, according to the SAPD.

Two teens are believed to be the intended targets. They were walking when they were shot at. One of them was shot in the upper torso and is not expected to survive, while the other was uninjured and fled on foot from the scene.

The other teen victim was an apparent innocent bystander. He stepped out of his home and realized afterwards that he had been shot at. It was unclear if the bullet went through the window or door of the home. The police said that he had no connection to the other victim.
