On December 29, 2023, at approximately 2:40 p.m., two male suspects vandalized the Shoreline Baptist Church and Gisler Elementary School, in Fountain Valley, causing an estimated $1,000 in damage, according to the Fountain Valley Police Department.

The police investigators released photos of the suspects. One of them appears to be African American and is overweight. He was wearing a flannel shirt, blue jeans and yellow/blue tennis shoes as well as a baseball cap. The other suspect was on a black bike and was wearing a black hoody with a white graphic of a woman, and black pants as well as white tennis shoes. He covered up his face but appears to be white or Hispanic.
