Yesterday, a Tustin resident with a keen eye for crime fighting reported suspicious activity at a local business.

The resident believed two suspects were attempting to break into vehicles in a parking lot.

After a brief game of hide-and-go-seek, day shift Tustin patrol officers detained the two suspects who were both on CDC Parole.

Both suspects were booked at OCJ for attempted vehicle burglary, possession of narcotics for sale, conspiracy to commit a felony, and violating their Parole.

The Tustin Police Department is grateful for their watchful residents and tenacious patrol officers who continue the mantra of #bustintustin and work hard everyday to maintain the safety and serenity we all enjoy in Tustin.
