On Tuesday, a witness reported seeing two suspects stealing over-the-counter medication from the CVS at Culver Dr. and Irvine Blvd., according to the Irvine Police Department.

The men unloaded the stolen goods into their car and returned to the store. When officers arrived, the suspects were still inside the store.

During the investigation, officers found over $950 of medicine and a pair of security keys stolen from the store in the suspect’s vehicle.

Eric Charles Taylor, 36, and Henry Zaylen, 21, of Long Beach, were arrested and booked at Orange County Jail for Organized Retail Theft.

The Irvine Police Department appreciates the witness for contacting them when they saw this crime happen. Being a great witness is just what the doctor ordered!
