Two home burglary suspects arrested after a police pursuit in north Orange County

On December 19, 2024, at 5:37 PM, the Fullerton Police Communications Center received a call from a resident in the 200 block of Altura Drive about a suspect seen wearing a mask in their backyard, as captured by a security camera.

Fullerton police officers responded promptly, setting up a perimeter and requesting assistance from an Anaheim Police Department airship. Before the officers arrived, the resident activated their home alarm system, prompting the suspect to flee.

Upon arrival, the airship located two individuals on the nearby train tracks and alerted the officers on the ground.

Both suspects instantly ran in different directions but were quickly apprehended.

One suspect was found in possession of a pair of gloves, while the other had a mask.
