Police officers often communicate with other police departments. That happened today when Tustin police officers were able to locate a vehicle that had been reported stolen next door, in the City of Santa Ana.

The police officers approached the vehicle with guns drawn, as depicted in a photo posted by the Tustin Police Department. They were taking every precaution, not knowing what they were walking into.

Fortunately the vehicle turned out to be unoccupied. The vehicle will be returned to its registered owner. it appears to be a blue pickup truck.
