405 FREEWAY CITIES COALITION IN ORANGE COUNTY TO HOLD TOWN HALL FORUM THIS TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, ON OCTA PROPOSAL TO ADD TOLL LANES ON I-405 FREEWAY

Forum Will Offer Opportunity For General Public To Voice Opinion On OCTA’s Proposal To Add Toll Lanes Along I-405 Freeway Between SR-55 And I-605 Freeways In Orange County

WHO: * Panel Made Up Of City Council Members From Each Of The 6 Member Cities Of The 405 Freeway Cities Coalition (Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, and Westminster)

* Remarks From A Wide Variety Of Electeds & Members Of Public Including:

  • Orange County Supervisor John Moorlach
  • State Assemblyman Allan Mansoor
  • State Assemblyman Travis Allen (Invited)

WHAT: 405 Freeway Cities Coalition Will Hold A Town Hall Forum To Gather Public Input Regarding The Orange County Transportation Authority’s (OCTA) Proposal To Add Toll Lanes Along The I-405 Freeway Between The SR-55 Freeway At Costa Mesa And The I-605 Freeway At The LA County Border

WHEN: Tuesday, October 29 at 6:30 P.M.

WHERE: Community Services Building, City of Westminster at 8300 Westminster Blvd., Westminster. (South Of SR-22 Freeway Between Beach Blvd. and Newland Street).

BACKGROUND: The OCTA Board Of Directors Is Scheduled To Vote At Their November 8 Board Meeting On Their Proposal To Add Toll Lanes Along The I-405 Freeway In Orange County. The Town Hall Forum Is An Effort To Gather Public Input To Pass Along To OCTA And Caltrans Regarding Their Proposal.
