The SAPD is searching for two men who stole an ATM card and withdrew almost K

Detectives seek the public’s assistance in identifying these suspects who stole almost $5,000 from a victim’s bank account, according to the SAPD.

On May 24, 2024, the victim’s ATM card was stolen in the City of Newport while the victim was withdrawing money at a Bank of America ATM. The suspects drove to the Bank of America at 2001 S. Main St. in Santa Ana and withdrew cash from the victim’s bank account.

The suspects are described as:

  • Suspect #1: Male, Hispanic or Middle Eastern, mid-50s, wearing a dark-colored hat, and a long-sleeve, white button-up shirt
  • Suspect #2: Male, Hispanic or Middle Eastern, late-50s, heavy set, wearing a dark-colored hat, sunglasses, and a light blue button-up short-sleeve shirt
