If you live near Main St. and Civic Center you probably heard the SAPD’s police helicopter making an accouncement this afternoon. Why they don’t make these announcements on their Twitter and Facebook pages instead is a real mystery as it is hard to make out what the helicopter is blaring out.

It turns out that the SAPD is searching for a missing elderly man, Manuel Vicente Cervantes.

Cervantes is wearing a light blue and white long sleeve shirt, black shoes and he is wearing a hat and walking with a cane.

Cervantes is an 88-year-old male Hispanic who stands 5′ 9″ and weighs between 180 and 190 lbs.
