Advisory: Vice & Narcotic Unit conducted an enforcement program targeting the prostitution related activity along the Harbor Blvd. corridor

During the evening hours of Saturday, March 04, 2017, Detectives with the Santa Ana Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit conducted an operation on Harbor Boulevard to target the level of street prostitution in that area.

A total of 20 females were arrested for prostitution related offenses.

The arrestees were processed and cited out with a promise to appear in court from the Santa Ana City Jail.

The work by the detectives culminated with the rescue of a 13 year-old victim of human trafficking, who was taken into protective custody.

The investigation into the identification and arrest of the suspects responsible for her trafficking is on-going.
