Over the weekend, SAPD police detectives served a narcotic related search warrant in the area of 4200 W. 5th Street involving a documented gang member.

As he was leaving his residence, the subject was detained and detectives searched the home.

Various narcotics and a loaded firearm were recovered inside.

The subject was booked at the Santa Ana Jail for various firearm and narcotic violations.
