The SAPD’s Major Enforcement Team, in conjunction with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, investigated an individual engaged in the sale of narcotics in Santa Ana, according to the SAPD.

On 1/8/2024, the suspect was contacted during a traffic stop, and 1,000 fentanyl pills were located during the search of his vehicle. Subsequently, additional search warrants were executed at various locations across the city.

The SAPD’s Major Enforcement Team, along with the SAPD’s Directed Enforcement Team and AB109 Unit, executed these warrants, leading to the confiscation of approximately 5,000 fentanyl pills and a significant sum of U.S. Currency.

The suspect was arrested and booked at the Orange County Jail on multiple felony narcotics charges.
