The SAPD arrested 14 suspects during a citywide probationer check

In response to the recent increase in criminal activity, the SAPD AB 109 Taskforce organized a city-wide probation compliance check operation. They focused on wanted probationers and those linked to violent gangs using intelligence from our Homicide and Robbery Units.

The operation involved the Orange County Probation Department Orange County Probation Department, Orange County District Attorney’s Office Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer , and several specialized units from Santa Ana PD.

They conducted compliance checks on 50 individuals, arresting 14. The operation also resulted in the seizure of a replica gun and an assault rifle. Outstanding work by all!
