The Huntington Beach Police Department’s anti-bike theft mission is in full swing as they posted on their Facebook page.

Last weekend, a daring thief took the bait and snatched a secured bicycle that police officers had strategically placed in the city.

Quick response from HBPD officers and HB1 air support led to the suspect’s arrest, and the stolen bike was recovered safely.

Earlier that day, another bike theft was reported, and the police officers wasted no time. Just hours later, they spotted the stolen e-bike and the suspect. The suspect was arrested, and we returned the bicycle to its rightful owner.

Attention: To all potential bike bandits, think twice before making a move in Huntington Beach. That tempting bike might be bait, and the police officers are ready to catch you red-handed.
