Community: Homeless Count Volunteer Opportunity Tomorrow: Are you an early riser?

The City of Santa Ana is executing a Point-in-Time Count of the homeless population across the City of Santa Ana tomorrow morning. As you know, the City it working to address homelessness both here and across the County. A count of the homeless in our community is a part of that effort.

If you can volunteer please contact Hafsa Kaka, Homeless Services Manager at hkaka@santa-ana.org. Report to Council Chambers at 4:00 AM tomorrow morning. You will work together in teams, and police officers will be attached to each team. Participants should wear comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes, and bring sunscreen and/or a hat. The City will provide refreshments and snacks, but you are welcome to bring your own as well.

This effort could take several hours, but it could be some of the most important and impactful time you give to your community. Please join us tomorrow morning to make this count happen!
