Taft Elementary is reportedly on a police lockout . A trespasser entered the school without permission and he was escorted out by school staff. He left in his car and was then involved in another incident off campus which resulted in injuries to at least three victims, who were hospitalized.

The SAUSD alerted parents but as usual did not announce any of this on their social media accounts. What is the point of having Twitter and Facebook accounts if the SAUSD only uses them to promote themselves?

The SAUSD ask that parents not come to pick up their kids as they intend to resume classes after the police clear the area.

The police are currently checking out the campus to make sure the suspect did not leave anything behind.
