Suspected drug dealer arrested after a traffic stop in Westminster

Overnight, a police officer conducted a traffic stop near Magnolia St. and Westminster Blvd. for traffic violations, according to the Westminster Police Department.

The police officer contacted the driver, who admitted to possessing controlled substances, and the officer could see controlled substances in plain sight.

A search of the vehicle revealed evidence indicative of drug sales, and a large amount of suspected fentanyl was seized.

The driver was subsequently arrested and booked at Orange County Jail on charges related to drug sales.

This is another example of WPD police officers working hard to keep the City of Westminster safe!
