There are penalties for unlawful street takeovers in Tustin!

Tustin police officers interrupted a street takeover with multiple vehicles performing “donuts” in the intersection of Armstrong and Airship.

Four vehicles were stopped which resulted in two arrests for exhibition of speed and felony vandalism, as well as the issuance of other traffic citations.

Two vehicles were also impounded for 30 days – which means their owners will have to ride buses or take Ubers during the holiday.
