Stolen pet cat found at a Santa Ana home joyfully reunited with owners in Westminster

On March 27, 2025, police officers received information that a stolen pet cat was at a residence in Santa Ana, according to the Westminster Police Department.

The pfficers were able to locate the animal safe and unharmed. The animal was reunited with its owner.

The suspect is still outstanding, and the theft is still under investigation.

The case will be forwarded to the Westminster Police Department Detective Bureau for further investigation.

Suspected cat thief from Santa Ana

On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, a victim arrived at the Westminster Police Department to report her male Bengal Lynx cat, “Clubber,” had been stolen from her home.

The victim stated she returned to her residence around midnight on Friday, March 21, 2025, and discovered the following morning that Clubber was missing. She also noticed that the AirTag attached to Clubber’s collar was stationary and located outside near her driveway.

Upon reviewing her home surveillance footage, the victim observed an unidentified male suspect at the end of her driveway.

The footage appears to show the suspect attempting to lure Clubber, possibly using food. When Clubber approached, the suspect quickly grabbed the animal and fled the area in a white pick-up truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma. The suspect and suspect vehicle remain outstanding at this time.

The Westminster Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, the suspect vehicle and reuniting Clubber with his owner.
