There was a commercial structure fire last night at 11:25 p.m. at Dey’s Donuts, located at 630 S. Euclid St. in
Santa Ana.

Initial OCFA firefighter crews handled the challenge of forcing through scissor gates they encountered once inside to knock down the fire in just over 20 min. – saving 5 additional suites in the mini mall from the fire.

They eventually declared a 2nd alarm for potential fire growth, but most of the adjacent units were released quickly due to quick, aggressive knockdown on the fire by initial units.

The OCFA was assisted by the Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach Fire Departments and the SAPD.

There were no injuries. Investigators were on the scene.
