Last night, patrol officers responded to a residential burglary near Main St. and 16th St., according to the SAPD.

The victim discovered her apartment had been ransacked and several items were stolen, including her laptop, AirPods, and car keys. She also reported her vehicle was taken.

Patrol personnel helped track her devices to the area of 800 N. Main St., where officers found the vehicle and arrested Juan Perez-Romero while he was removing items.

Thankfully, the victim’s property was returned and the suspect was booked at the Santa Ana Jail.

Remember to secure all entry points—doors, windows, and garages. Stay safe, Santa Ana.
