Last week, a 22-year-old man from Santa Ana decided to practice his vehicle twist-about skills on a city street in Irvine. He ended up spinning his car on the road like a pinwheel on a windy day, according to the Irvine Police Dept.

The man was arrested on charges of felony vandalism. The approximate cost of damage to the road and painted markings is almost $2,000. His car was also impounded for 30 days.

The Irvine PD will not tolerate street racing, sideshows, or reckless driving in Irvine!
