Detectives received information that two suspects were attempting to ship multiple packages of drugs to different parts of the United States and abroad, according to the Irvine Police Department (IPD).
On July 16, the IPD Special Investigation Unit served a search warrant at homes on Terrapin in Irvine and Mainplace Drive in Santa Ana. That latter address had to be the Paloma Apartments at MainPlace.
Detectives located several pounds of cocaine, methamphetamine, and cannabis products, as well as multiple weapons and cash.
They also found a message from a PF Chang’s fortune cookie that read “Your hard work will soon pay off.” The fortune should have read, “Your criminal activity is soon going to earn you an arrest by the Irvine Police.”

Sohail Hussain, 28, of Irvine, was arrested on charges such as possession for sale of controlled substances, having a controlled substance while armed, and various weapons violation charges.
Katrina Chimene Hornsby, 24, of Santa Ana, was arrested on charges such as possession for sale of a controlled substance and the transportation of a controlled substance. Both suspects were booked at Orange County Jail.
