On Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, the City of Santa Ana will celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day to honor this iconic leader of the Civil Rights Movement.
In observance of the federal holiday, Santa Ana City Hall, libraries, senior centers, community centers and the Santa Ana Work Center will be closed. There will be no street sweeping, but trash and recycling will be collected as scheduled. Emergency services will operate normally. Please call 911 for police or fire services.

El lunes 19 de enero de 2026 se conmemora el Día de Martin Luther King Jr., en honor a este icónico líder del Movimiento por los Derechos Civiles. Con motivo de este feriado federal, el Ayuntamiento de Santa Ana, las bibliotecas, los centros para personas adultas mayores, los centros comunitarios y el Centro de Trabajo de Santa Ana permanecerán cerrados. No habrá barrido de calles; sin embargo, la recolección de basura y reciclaje se realizará conforme al horario habitual. Los servicios de emergencia operarán con normalidad.
