A male suspect and two accomplices entered a store in Huntington Beach and walked out with $2,100 worth of merchandise. The stolen goods were loaded into a truck, and the driver sped away with the loot while the other two suspects made a run for it on foot.

Responding Huntington Beach police officers located and stopped the truck, recovered the stolen items, and returned them to the store.

The driver was arrested and booked at the Huntington Beach Police Department’s jail. While searching for the remaining suspects, officers located two unrelated individuals actively smoking narcotics and arrested them too.

One of those individuals was found to be wanted for three outstanding theft warrants. Talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time!

The Huntington Beach Police Department’s investigation is ongoing as they work diligently to apprehend the two remaining suspects who fled on foot.

Remember, crime doesn’t pay in Huntington Beach! The Huntington Beach Police Department is committed to apprehending those who choose to break the law.
