Imagine if you had to gather up your dirty laundry and most likely walk or take the bus to the nearest laundromat, once a week?  That is the reality for hundreds if not thousands of Santa Ana’s residents.  For them a handful of quarters is the difference between having clean clothes – or not.

The folks at Laundry Love know this and for several years they have been randomly visiting laundromats in town and helping people who are struggling financially by assisting them with doing their laundry. Relationships are built this way, and they hope to become a small community of common concern in which participants find that they receive assistance and benefit with other areas of their lives as well.

If that sounds like something you would like to do then you are in luck.  Laundry Love is celebrating their four year anniversary this Thursday, Sep. 19, 2013, at 7:30 p.m., at 406 East Santa Ana Blvd. Click here to RSVP on Facebook.  Click here to check out their website.

As always they request that you find parking in the area and not in the laundromat parking lot.
