There are several local candidates running for the First District of the Orange County Board of Supervisors – and several of them are looking for volunteers to help them as the special election is coming up very quickly, on Jan. 27, 2015.

  • If you would like to help former State Senator Lou Correa, a Democrat who lives in Santa Ana, contact Alex Flores at 714-474-8768
  • If you are interested in helping Garden Grove Councilman Chris Phan, a Republican, contact George Brietigam at
  • If you want to help Andrew Do, a Republican who quit the Garden Grove City Council a few years ago, click here.

Alex Flores for Lou Correa

If you are interested in helping independent candidate Chuyen Van Nguyen you are out of luck as he has no Facebook page, no campaign website and no campaign to speak of.  Same goes for notorious Minuteman/Republican Lupe Morfin Moreno.  Both Van Nguyen and Moreno are on the ballot in an apparent attempt to split the Viet and Latino votes further.

  1. Alex Flores??? WTF. That’s who was in a large part responsible for Jose Solorio’s defeat.

Heck, they can’t even vote himself. I am surprised and disappointed in Lou for allowing this. Alex is a good guy but is ill prepared for these kinds of contests. He is in the “Greg Diamond” League.

Alex, concentrate on getting a real job, KEEPING YOUR MOUTH SHUT, and continuing o work on your citizenship and most important your education. What would be amazing would be if you could follow Bao and pull yourself up by your bootstraps and work for your education and right to vote.

This does not bode well for Lou. It won’t crush him, but exposes the hole in his intelligence.
