Downtown Community Update Presentation

The Community is invited for an update on downtown hosted by Downtown Inc. Wednesday, May 13th – The Frida Cinema (305 E. 4th St.)

May 8, 2016 – Downtown Inc. is asking neighbors, artists, residents, businesses, and friends to attend a presentation and update on downtown Santa Ana.

Topics will include some exciting reveals and also popular topics of discussion from Parking and Biking to Economic Development, the Arts and more. The presentation will highlight recent accomplishments and downtown milestones, and announce Downtown Inc.’s 2015-2016 strategies to create a mutually-supportive and better connected DTSA.

If anyone has questions or topics they would like to see covered at the meeting, they are encouraged to e-mail info@downtown-inc.com. Popular questions and topics may be incorporated into the event.

“We’re very excited by all the good work going on downtown,” said Downtown Inc. President, Ryan Chase, “this is a great moment to pause and reflect on where we’ve been and where we want to go together.”

Approximately one year ago, Downtown Inc. engaged lead consultant, Ryan Smolar, who has helped Downtown Inc. implement a new approach to downtown economic development rooted in community connectivity and stakeholder development.

“There are so many exciting and good things happening in Santa Ana” said Smolar, “this is a great time to set a new frame that gets people excited about working together.”

  1. Is this the meeting where they discuss opposing the Wellness District and making downtown unwelcome to non-hipster businesses?

  2. So far off the mark you both are. It was a great meeting. The downtown train is not stopping.
