Bicycle thief from Santa Ana arrested in Irvine

Recently, a man heard a noise in his garage and realized his bike was being stolen, according to the Irvine Police Department.

The victim gave chase and caught the suspect. After a brief struggle, the man got his bike back from the suspect.

The suspect fled but was located by Irvine police officers in the area.

Paulino Pantojadiaz, 34, of Santa Ana, was arrested for burglary, robbery, and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at Orange County Jail.
