The CHP in Santa Ana issued a “Carpool Shenanigans Alert” when they pulled over a driver who was trying to fool the CHP officers by driving in the carpool lane with a dummy in his passenger seat.

The driver tried very hard to fool the CHP. Not only did he have a dummy in the passenger seat, he also tinted his windows!

In the end the driver received a citation for his creative yet futile attempt to deceive the law.

The CHP applauded the driver’s imagination, but reminded us all that the carpool lane is for REAL passengers only. No dummies allowed!
