Alexandra Erica Leslie, 38, of Irvine, stole items from a grocery store in the north end of town multiple times last week.

On Saturday, Leslie visited the same store and attempted to leave with numerous bags of stolen merchandise. When employees tried to get the merchandise back, Leslie punched one employee and bit the other.

Leslie then displayed a small knife and went to the back of the store, where she damaged merchandise until the Irvine police officers arrived.

Leslie, who was on probation, was arrested and booked at Orange County Jail for robbery, battery, and brandishing a weapon.
