On Friday evening, just before 8 p.m., the Huntington Beach Police Department received a call for service regarding a truck crashing into the Kohl’s store at Bella Terra.

The responding police officers found three injured individuals inside the store with non-life-threatening injuries. All were transported to local hospitals by medics.

The police officers observed the vehicle fleeing the scene, and a pursuit ensued.

The pursuit was terminated with the use of a PIT maneuver at the 16000 block of Beach Blvd., and the driver was taken into custody.

Preliminary investigation appears DUI was a factor, and no suspects remain at large. The investigation is ongoing.
