Residents safely escaped from a fire in their home at the 3100 block of South Manitoba Drive in Santa Ana at approximately 5:27 a.m. this morning.

OCFA firefighters quickly knocked down fire in the garage, second floor, and attic in just 32 minutes with no damage to the neighboring homes.

There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.

The OCFA firefighters were assisted by firefighters from Fountain Valley and Costa Mesa. The SAPD also provided support and the OC Red Cross is helping the family that was displaced by the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
