The RV where an unidentified woman barricaded herself for hours from police Tuesday, Sept. 14 was damaged in a fire Thursday, according to the O.C. Register.

The RV was parked at Dyer Road and Pullman Ave. This was also where it was parked on Tuesday when the police responded after the woman, who was not identified, armed herself with a knife, barricaded herself in the RV and threw the vehicle’s contents out.

The police tried on Tuesday to convince the woman to leave the RV but they ended up leaving in order to avoid what might have turned into a violent confrontation.

However on Thursday morning the woman apparently set the RV on fire. OCFA firefighters were able to put out the flames before 9 a.m.

No injuries were reported. A news report on the radio indicated that the woman was found naked by the burning RV. She was apparently taken to a mental health facility. The RV reportedly was owned by an unidentified man.
