On Monday, March 28, 2022, at approximately 8:20 AM, a 14-year-old female juvenile was walking to school in the area of Edwards Street and Humboldt Street when she was approached by a white 4-Door sedan with tinted windows.

The suspect (male/hispanic, approx. 30 y/o, shaved head) was persistently asking if she wanted a ride and followed the victim as she walked to school but eventually drove away. A similar incident occurred in the city of Stanton on Friday, March 18th, but it has not yet been determined if both cases are related.

The investigation is ongoing, and WPD detectives urge anyone who has information to contact the
Westminster Police Department at 714-548-3212, or Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIPOCCS, or by logging on to www.occrimestoppers.org. Callers can remain anonymous.
