A man was shot and seriously wounded last night a few blocks from the Anaheim Cemetery, according to the Anaheim Police Department.

The police showed up at the scene just before 7:30 p.m. at the 1200 block of East Lincoln Ave.

The responding police officers found the victim, who appearted to have been shot at least once.

The man, who was not identified, was taken to a local hospital and was in critical condition.

The police have not yet revealed if the shooting took place inside of our outside of the nearby apartment building.

There were no other injuries reported by the police in connection with the shooting.

The police investigators have not identified a suspect nor released a description of a suspect or possible suspect vehicle. No word yet regarding the motive for the shooting.
