A high school in north OC was locked down but the threat turned out to be water guns

This morning at approximately 8:41 AM, a School Resource Officer from the Fullerton Police Department was alerted to a report of a male seen in a vehicle on the 600 block of N. Pomona, across the street from a school, who might have grabbed a gun.

As a precaution, Fullerton Union High School was placed on lockdown.

Police officers quickly arrived at the scene to investigate the report.

After further examination, it was determined that the student had two water guns in his vehicle, which were never brought onto the campus.

The lockdown has since been lifted.
