The Costa Mesa Police Department screened 194 vehicles, which resulted in 12 field sobriety tests, at their DUI and driver’s license checkpoint on 19th Street East and Pomona Avenue, on Friday night, May 7, 2021.

The Costa Mesa police officers also issued 11 citations including 10 for driving unlicensed and one open container cite, and 12 vehicles were impounded.
