Seven people were arrested after the Westminster Police Department raided an illegal gambling house in Westminster.

The raid went down on Tuesday morning at around 8 a.m. at a slaphouse located at the 8700 block of Thorpe Avenue. 

Two of the seven people arrested had outstanding warrants, according to the Westminster police.

The police officers seized about $5,000 in cash, over 17 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and five gaming machines.

The Westminster police investigators did not divulge the names of the suspects.
