Two women from Pacoima (a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles) went on a shoplifting spree at Lululemon in Irvine on Saturday night. When they left the store with $1,800 in stolen clothing, they were greeted by friendly Irvine Police Officers who are assigned to the Spectrum Center.

Perhaps the suspects forgot to pay but the $3,500 in additional stolen Lululemon merchandise the officers found in their car indicates this was more than a one-time deal for the pair.

One suspect had the unique opportunity to wear a fashionable pair of purple handcuffs to jail.

Catalina Mendez, 33, and Genesis Gaticagallardo, 33, were booked at Orange County Jail for conspiracy and grand theft.
