Tustin police drone helps to nab a vehicle thief atop a parking structure

After police officers had learned of a stolen vehicle in the city, a Unmanned Aircraft System (drone) operator located the vehicle on the top floor of an empty parking structure, according to the Tustin Police Department.

The suspect had nowhere to hide as he could not escape from the overhead view of the police drone!

While enroute to the Orange County Jail, the suspect was provided feedback for any future games of hide-and-seek by the helpful police officers.

Criminals tend to be pretty dumb and now they have to contend with the police use of technology. This does not bode well for those who choose to commit crimes in Orange County!
