While they ransacked the master bedroom, fortunately, no items have been reported stolen at this time.
The suspects, who appeared to be of European descent, fled the scene in a black Honda Pilot SUV.
The SAPD would like to share some important safety tips to help protect you and your loved ones from incidents like this:
- Be aware of your surroundings, especially when traveling back home from the bank
- Ensure all doors and windows are securely locked
- Invest in a home security system
- Do not open the door to strangers or unexpected solicitors
- Beware that Organized Theft Groups pose as delivery drivers, construction workers, and salesman to distract the homeowner at the front while additional suspects enter through the rear and enter the residence
- Remember, report any suspicious activity to Santa Ana PD
Anyone with information on these suspects is asked to contact Detective J. Guidry at (714) 245-8530 or JGuidry@santa-ana.org.
