Three suspects dressed in black ran into the Kay Jewelers in Irvine, around 5:04 p.m., and smashed display cases then grabbed jewelry before they ran back out of the store and fled in a four-door gray Honda, according to the Irvine Police Department.

Police officers eventually located the robbers, who did not get far, off of the 5-freeway at Jamboree. The police officers arrested Keonte Blockmon, a 21-year-old resident of Moreno Valley and two juveniles.

The police officers were able to recover more than $55,000 worth of jewelry which they then returned to the store.
