Last week a concerned citizen called the Costa Mesa Police Department about a man in possession of narcotics. It turned out that the suspect also had outstanding warrants for narcotics for sale, gun charges, and a DUI.

Needless to say, he preferred to run from the Costa Mesa Day Watch police officers instead of talking to them.

After a short foot pursuit, the police officers arrested the suspect, who was in possession of 45 grams of fentanyl, cocaine, and cash.

The Unmanned Aerial Support (UAS) Team was there to assist with their drone and caught footage while the suspect was caught and arrested.
