Community: The Santa Ana Police Department is hosting the 25th Annual Employee Recognition and Awards Ceremony

The Santa Ana Police Department is hosting the 25th Annual Employee Recognition and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the Double Tree Hotel at 201 East MacArthur Boulevard in Santa Ana.

This year we are pleased to have as our emcee popular Orange County newscaster MICHELE GILE who reports from the field for both KCAL Channel 9 and CBS Channel 2.

Sixty eight individuals will be recognized for their exceptional contributions to the department’s operations and public safety in Santa Ana.

Art Pedroza Editor

Our Editor, Art Pedroza, worked at the O.C. Register and the OC Weekly and studied journalism at CSUF and UCI. He has lived in Santa Ana for over 30 years and has served on several city and county commissions. When he is not writing or editing Pedroza specializes in risk control and occupational safety. He also teaches part time at Cerritos College and CSUF. Pedroza has an MBA from Keller University.
