Earlier this week, Fountain Valley Police Department officers responded to a call of a vehicle with no license plates, driving recklessly through traffic and running red lights.

The police officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, immediately recognizing a strong odor of marijuana.

During a search of the vehicle, approximately 10 lbs. of psilocybin (mushrooms) and 15 lbs. of marijuana were found, an estimated street value of $36K.

With the assistance of FVPD’s Special Investigations Unit, it was determined the occupants were involved in the sales and transportation for sales of narcotics.

Deandre Caicedo, Julio Curo, Kenny Sanchez, and Jose Lerma (all from Texas) were arrested on various drug related charges and booked into Orange County Jail.
