Police seized meth and a ghost gun and arrested two suspects after a fight in Costa Mesa

Recently, weekend police officers responded to the 1800 block of Newport Boulevard regarding a call of a large group of individuals, one possibly with a handgun, fighting near a bar, according to the Costa Mesa Police Department.

The officers arrived in the area and saw a suspect fleeing the area in a rideshare and detained him.

Another suspect was found nearby.

A search of the area resulted in the seizure of a loaded “ghost” gun, an unserialized and untraceable firearm, and almost an ounce of methamphetamine.

Both men were arrested.
