Orange delivery driver arrested on DUI charges after passing out in his truck

Yesterday, just after 3:00 pm, a witness reported a delivery truck stopped in the area of Palm Avenue and Parker Street with a man passed out in the driver’s seat, according to the Orange Police Department.

Police officers determined the driver was intoxicated and arrested him for DUI.

The OPD appreciates the witness who called and they encourage everyone to report drunk drivers.

  1. Obviously an Amazon truck and uniform. Why are we covering for them by blurring the logo? Amazon intentionally created a delivery system taking advantage of as many loopholes (like Independant Contractor status and lower vehicle GVRWs compared to traditional Step Vans) as possible to avoid regulations and increase profits. They also employ a very low wage, untrained employee, and singlehandedly lowered the bar in the final mile delivery industry. Amazon is evil.
