OC deputies recovered 41 bottles of stolen booze and arrested a suspect after a traffic stop

On November 18, Lake Forest Sheriff deputies stopped a car for vehicle code violations.

The deputies ended up recovering 41 stolen bottles of booze! The suspect was also using a fake name.

The driver now faces fraud, meth, and organized retail theft charges—and his car hitched a ride to car jail, which is to say the impound yard.

Now that Prop. 36 passed the suspect will be looking at a signifant prison sentence.
